Luke gives the details about how the first major church was established in the Gentile world in the third largest city in the Roman Empire.

It was here that we were first called Christians. Pastor Stoos reviews the story of the slave girl Blandina who was martyred for the faith in AD177 in a very similar Roman City.

William Wilberforce asked the probing question of whether there would be enough evidence to convict us today if we were accused of being Christians. And of course whether we are prepared to face the persecution that may come to us in the future.
